Join us online in another CAAG Conversation to discuss Students’ Understanding of Assessment.

Description: We understand the importance of assessment of student learning. But do our students? And how do we know? This conversation focuses on the various ways we can evaluate our students’ understanding of assessment, why we do it and how its importance is shared with students.

Conversation Host: Dr. Naze's higher education experience spans 19 years, 16 of which have been in Illinois. Naze was a tenured faculty member in the Department of Communication at Prairie State College in Chicago Heights, Illinois for 8 years before moving into administration as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for two years. From there he moved on to Joliet Junior College where he spent the last three years as Dean of Academic Excellence and Support and currently serves as Vice President of Academic Affairs at Kankakee Community College in Kankakee, Illinois. Dr. Naze has earned his Associate of Arts degree from Rock Valley College, his bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in Communication Studies from Northern Illinois University, and his PhD in Rhetoric from Indiana University, Bloomington.
