Post date: Nov 24, 2014 11:33:36 PM

Please join us for the next meeting of the Chicago Area Assessment Group on Thursday, December 4, 2014. For this last meeting of the year, we will have an open forum where we will:

    • Review the proposed CAAG Strategic Plan
    • Discuss your pressing assessment issues and questions
    • Identify possible topics/guest speakers for the next year

We will also have a “holiday snack potluck” -- contributions are welcome (but not necessary).

Date: Thursday, December 4, 2014

Time: 10:00 – Noon (CST)

Location: DePaul University, Loop Campus, 1411 Lewis Center. Lewis is located at 25 E. Jackson, just east of the corner of State and Jackson. The doors are just east of the restaurant Pazzo's. If you need assistance finding the building or room, please call the Office for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment at 312-362-7587.

Getting there:

The easiest way to get the DePaul Center is via public transportation.

Chicago elevated trains: Take the blue or red line to the Jackson stop; the brown, orange, pink, or purple line to the Harold Washington library stop; or the green line to the Adams & Wabash stop, then walk to 25 E. Jackson.

Metra (Union Station): Walk 1 block south on Canal to Jackson Blvd. From there, you can either take the 26 bus or walk 8 blocks (about half a mile) east on Jackson to 25 E. Jackson.

Driving: DePaul University does not have its own parking facilities in the loop. However, the Auditorium Garage (65 E. Congress Parkway) and Crosstown Auto Park (328 South Wabash Avenue) both offer discounts for DePaul visitors. To receive a discounted rate, you will need to have your parking ticket validated in the lobby of the Lewis Center (adjacent to the elevators).
