February Meeting

Post date: Jan 18, 2017 7:30:35 PM

Please join us for the February 2nd meeting of the Chicago Area Assessment Group. Our next meeting topic will be co-curricular assessment.

Meeting Information

The format of the meeting will be a panel presentation/discussion with co-curricular assessment professionals.

Time: 10:00 – Noon (CST)

Location: 8012 DePaul Center. The DePaul Center is located at 1 E. Jackson, on the corner of State and Jackson. It is the building with the Barnes and Noble. The DePaul Center has two different sets of elevators. Take the north bank of elevators to the 8th floor. The elevators directly adjacent to the atrium are for the city of Chicago and are labeled “City of Chicago Municipal.” If you need assistance finding the room, please call the Office for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment: 312-362-7587.

Transportation

The easiest way to get the DePaul Center is via public transportation.

Chicago elevated trains: Take the blue or red line to the Jackson stop; the brown, orange, pink, or purple line to the Harold Washington library stop; or the green line to the Adams & Wabash stop, then walk to Jackson and State.

Metra (Union Station): Walk 1 block south on Canal to Jackson Blvd. From there, you can either take the 26 bus or walk 8 blocks (about half a mile) east on Jackson to Jackson and State.

Driving: DePaul University does not have its own parking facilities in the loop. However, the Auditorium Garage (65 E. Congress Parkway) and Crosstown Auto Park (328 South Wabash Avenue) both offer discounts for DePaul visitors. To receive a discounted rate, you will need to have your parking ticket validated in the lobby of the DePaul Center (directly across from the north bank of elevators).
