Please join us in person or virtually for the next meeting of the Chicago Area Assessment Group on Thursday, June 4th. Our discussion topic will be: Appropriate Use of Assessment Results in Higher Education. What do we feel are appropriate and inappropriate uses of assessment results? Do we have policies at our institutions for how assessment results can or should be used? What are the implications of different uses of assessment?
This topic was inspired by the Inside Higher Ed article shared by CAAG member Thayer Reed last month about a bill that had been introduced into the Iowa State Senate that would use teaching evaluations to fire professors.
